Duke did better offensively against Virginia but the fourth quarter again proved to be difficult as the Blue Devils gave up two late touchdowns.
Worse, Duke was down just 24-20 when the dam broke and Virginia pulled away for a 38-20 win.
Losing both cornerbacks to surgery didn’t help but that’s two weeks in a row when the defense crumbled. Clearly Duke has some work to do.
