NOTRE DAME, Ind. – Junior RJ Schreck continued a strong start to the season going 3-for-4, but Duke was unable to overcome a five-run fifth inning by Notre Dame and fell to the Fighting Irish 6-2 on Saturday at Frank Eck Stadium in Notre Dame, Ind.
Schreck led the Blue Devils offensively as he went 3-for-4 with a home run and two RBIs. Schreck recorded three of Duke's five hits. Senior Chris Crabtree recorded a double in his first plate appearance on the day, his fourth of the season.
