DURHAM, N.C.—Duke freshman Matt Finesilver upset No. 20 Daniel Bullard to highlight the Blue Devils’ wrestling home opener against NC State Friday night at Cameron Indoor Stadium. The sixth-ranked Wolfpack came away with the 32-6 victory to kick off the ACC Wrestling season.
Redshirt senior Jacob Kasper added another win to his resumé for the second Duke (2-4, 0-1) win of the night. Duke is back at home Sunday at 2 p.m., versus Navy.
The Wolfpack raced right out of the gates like they have done all year, winning the first six matches of the night for a 24-0 lead in the dual.
