DURHAM, N.C.—Duke junior striker Daniele Proch continued his torrid scoring pace, netting a goal in the 61st minute to lead the 17th-ranked Blue Devils to a crucial 3-2 ACC home victory over No. 9 Notre Dame this evening at Koskinen Stadium. The win is the fourth straight for the Blue Devils.
Duke, coming off of 2-0 win over No. 10 Virginia the previous week, earned its second top-10 victory to improve to 8-3-1 overall and 3-2-0 in ACC action. Notre Dame falls to 7-4-1 and 3-2-0 in league play.
Daniel Wright and Matthias Frick added the other goals for Duke, their second and third of the year, respectively.
