DURHAM, N.C. - Another first was added to the list Friday afternoon at the Duke Softball Stadium, as the Duke Blue Devils (13-10, 1-3 ACC) defeated the Boston College Eagles (9-13, 0-1 ACC) in walk-off fashion for the first ACC victory in program history.
Peyton St. George (2-2) helped set up the win with a one-out double to right center that put runners on second and third for the Blue Devils. Duke would then bring in Jazmine Moreno to pinch run at third and the redshirt freshman showcased her speed, sliding home after a passed ball to seal the win.
