DURHAM, N.C. – After playing six-straight matches away from home, the Duke men’s tennis team returned home with a 7-0 shutout victory over N.C. Central Saturday afternoon inside the Sheffield Indoor Tennis Center.
The Blue Devils improved their record to 4-5 on the season while N.C. Central dropped to 0-2.
In doubles action, junior Nick Stachowiak and senior Jason Lapidus earned a court one victory with a score of 6-2 over Gabriel Cucalon and Amit Baran. The Duke duo jumped to an early 2-0 lead then extended it to 5-1.
