Duke Men’s Basketball recently celebrated the 25th anniversary of their first national championship in 1991, and a big part of their title run was an upset of UNLV. It was recently announced that the Blue Devils will meet up with the Runnin’ Rebels for the first time since the 1991 Final Four next season in Las Vegas.
In the last match-up between these two programs, Duke upset UNLV 79-77. That Runnin’ Rebels team was undefeated up to that point and was attempting to go the entire season without a loss as the favorite to win the 1991 NCAA National Championship.
