Duke had not defeated a ranked opponents in thirteen consecutive games. That all changed on Sunday afternoon when the Lady Blue Devils toppled the No. 14 Florida State Seminoles in Cameron Indoor Stadium.
Winners of eight of its last ten and four games in a row, Duke is in prime position for an NCAA Tournament berth with four games remaining in the regular season followed by the ACC Tournament.
On Sunday the Lady Blue Devils were led by Haley Gorecki who played all 40 minutes in the game and despite struggling from the field, 3-of-14, was able to score 14 of her 21 points at the free throw line.
