The Duke basketball fantasy camp appears to be at the center of a bacteria outbreak.
It seemed to be the great return of the ‘K Academy’ after a year hiatus but a press release put out by the Duke basketball program casted a dark cloud over the anticipated event.
Duke announced that 84 campers that were inside Cameron Indoor Stadium were likely exposed to the bacteria Legionella, but all likely exposed are all expected to recover after experiencing flu-like symptoms, including fever, muscle fatigue and nausea,
The released stated that none of the current Duke basketball players were exposed to the bacteria and it is not believed to be a contagious illness.
