The Duke basketball team are a punchline to an NCAA Tournament commercial.
It’s been 26 years since the Duke basketball program did not make the NCAA Tournament and it did not take long for the Blue Devils to become the center of the jokes.
Mike Krzyzewski and his program were at the center of many television and radio shows on Sunday night into Monday as there has not been an NCAA Tournament without the Blue Devils since 1995.
Twitter also had a field day with the official ending to the 2020-21 Duke basketball season.
