The Duke basketball program had special visitors during its trip to Chicago.
It was disappointing that the Duke basketball program wasn’t able to get on the court in public during its trip to Chicago this weekend but the Blue Devils were still able to enjoy their time in the Windy City.
The Duke players were able to go through various business meetings with high profile companies, as well as a day of fun on Lake Michigan, but its dinners might have been the most entertaining part of the trip.
Not only was a prank pulled on head coach Jon Scheyer on Saturday night that involved him being serenaded with a Blue Devil version of ‘Happy Birthday’, nearly a month ahead of his real birthday, but there were special guest visitors lined up to speak to the young squad ahead of its season.
