Duke basketball draftees get more clarity on what lies ahead

The NBA is very close to returning and plans are already being made for the offseason, which includes the 2020 NBA Draft.

Duke has six players that are eligible to be selected, three seniors Javin DeLaurier, Jack White, and Justin Robinson, one sophomore Tre Jones, and two freshmen Vernon Carey Jr. and Cassius Stanley.

Because of the coronavirus pandemic, all operations in the NBA were halted as well as the NCAA's decision to indefinitely suspend the deadline for underclassmen to withdraw from the draft and return to their schools.

With thing coming more into focus the dates, deadlines, and timelines are now back in place as players must decide whether they will pursue a professional career or return to college by August 3, or ten days after the NBA Combine, whichever date is first.
