Duke has been connected to more transfers this offseason than in recent years and the Blue Devils remain locked on Alan Griffin, who will be transferring from Illinois.
Griffin is the older brother of Adrian Griffin Jr., a top player in the Class of 2021, who has already committed to the Blue Devils.
Duke reached out to the eldest Griffin moments after he announced his decision to leave the Illini and continues to be in contact with the 6-foot-5 guard.
Stadium's Jeff Goodman reported on Friday afternoon that Griffin told him Miami, Arizona, Marquette, Dayton, Iowa State, Texas, Syracuse, and Duke are the schools that he is still considering.
