Duke's 2020-21 basketball roster continues to evolve as Friday's news adds another player to the team as Carson Pierce will be joining the Blue Devils as a preferred walk-on.
Pierce is a North Carolina native, listed as a 6-foot-7, 195 pound guard who served as a captain for Greensboro Day School in his senior season.
Carson Pierce will be the seventh player of a loaded recruiting entering Durham next year headlined by Jalen Johnson, the No. 11 incoming freshman in the country, according to 247 Sports Composite Rankings.
Jeremy Roach, DJ Steward, Mark Williams, Jaemyn Brakefield, and Henry Coleman round out the incoming class of freshman, who are all ranked inside the Top-45 of the 247 Sports Composite Rankings.
