Three incoming Blue Devils for the men’s and women’s basketball team participated in the annual McDonald’s All American game last night, and all three had excellent performances for their respective teams in the high school All-Star showcase.
Duke recruits Frank Jackson and Jayson Tatum represented Duke in the in the Boys McDonald’s All-American game. The two incoming freshmen competed against each other in this game before joining together with the Blue Devils in the fall, and both starred for their respective teams. Tatum led the East team in scoring with 18 points and in minutes played with 23 as a starter while Jackson tied a game-high 19 points on 7-11 shooting and 5-7 from three off the bench for the West in a 114-107 victory over the East.
