DURHAM, N.C. – Entering his sixth season at Duke, head coach Chris Pollard is thrilled to announced the signing of RHP Jack Carey to a National Letter of Intent. A product of Summit, N.J., Carey headlines the Blue Devils’ 12-player recruiting class set to arrive in Durham this coming fall.
“Jack Carey is one of the top right-handed pitching prospects in the country,” said Pollard. “With a fastball up to 94 mph, he’s a true power arm. Jack’s physical tools – his ability to throw strikes coupled with a plus fastball – give him the opportunity to come into our program and contribute early.
