DURHAM, N.C. – With the 2019 season opener two weeks away, head coach Chris Pollard and the Duke baseball program are excited to announce right-handed pitcher Billy Seidl as part of the Blue Devils’ most recent recruiting class.
“Billy Seidl is a true power arm,” said Pollard. “He pitches like he plays football, with a bulldog mentality. He’s a really accomplished player for St. Sebastian’s on the football field. On the mound, he’s been up to 92-93 miles per hour. He has a wipeout slider, and could potentially project as a closer at the college level and beyond.
