DURHAM, N.C. – Duke University inducted eight new members into the school’s Athletics Hall of Fame on Friday evening at a ceremony in Scharf Hall. The class includes Elton Brand (basketball), Katie Chrest Erbe (lacrosse), Candy Hannemann (golf), Lindsey Harding (basketball), Bob Harris (broadcaster), Ryan Jackson (baseball), Randy Jones (football & track) and Shelden Williams (basketball).
The Class of 2018 features five former National Player of the Year selections in Brand, Erbe, Hannemann, Harding and Jackson along with Olympic silver medalist Jones, National Defensive Player of the Year Williams and Harris, who spent 41 years as the Voice of the Blue Devils.
