The Duke track & field and cross country teams received four student-athletes this past week. The Blue Devils received National Letters of Intent from Christopher Ambrosio (men’s distance), Becky Arbiv (women’s pole vault), Sara Platek (women’s distance) and Erin Marsh (women’s heptathlete/400m hurdler).

Christopher Ambrosio
Christopher Ambrosio, a native of Avon, Ohio, heads into his senior track and field season at St. Ignatius High School with a personal-best 3,200-meter time of 9:01.78. Ambrosio’s personal-record performance came at last season’s outdoor OHSAA D1 State Meet, where he placed second as a junior.
