Duke Football already has one of the top recruiting classes in school history joining for the 2016-2017 season next year, and the next freshman class just got even better with the recent commitment from 3-star defensive back Javon Jackson.

Javon Jackson is one of the top cornerback recruits from Georgia. He decided on Duke after meeting with head coach David Cutcliffe after Cutcliffe compared the 5-10 defensive back to current redshirt junior safety DeVon Edwards and explained how they plan use him in the same way playing multiple safety positions on defense and possibly on special teams as a returner.
