WINSTON-SALEN, N.C. – The Duke sophomore doubles duo of Faris Khan and Niroop Vallabhaneni clinched the A2 Draw doubles title to highlight Day Two of the Wake Forest Invite.
The pair secured a 6-3 victory over North Carolina A&T's Esteban Lopez and Eder Blanco to claim the title.
Khan also had a solid day in singles action registering two victories to advance to the A2 singles title match. Khan started out by beating Stetson's Sven Thiergard 6-4, 6-1 in the quarterfinals, before besting the No. 2 seed Robert Maciag of Wake Forest in the semifinals 6-1, 6-2.
