DURHAM, N.C. – Incoming Duke women's lacrosse freshman Katie DeSimone was named a 2020 Under Armour Senior All-American, the Corrigan Sports Enterprises, in conjunction with Inside Lacrosse, announced Tuesday.
DeSimone, ranked the fifth recruit nationally by Inside Lacrosse, was selected on attack to the 2020 South Team. The selection was the fourth year in a row DeSimone earned Under Armour All-American status, including being on the All-Tournament team as a sophomore.
A standout and captain at St. Anthony's High School in South Huntington, N.Y., DeSimone saw her senior season canceled due to COVID-19.
