LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) revealed the 54 student-athletes voted to 2021 NFCA Division I All-America teams Wednesday afternoon as junior Deja Davis earned second team honors.
Davis' All-America selection comes as the first in program history. She was one of three Blue Devils who received All-Southeast Region accolades, earning a spot on the first team.
The Cerritos, Calif., native put together the strongest season of her career, leading the Blue Devils offensively throughout the entire 2021 campaign. She started all 56 games, splitting time between shortstop, designated player and right field.
