DURHAM – Duke senior has been selected in the Athletes Unlimited Pro Softball Draft, as announced by the organization during the live draft Tuesday night.
Davidson was one of 15 players to be drafted to the professional league and joins Valerie Cagle of Clemson as the two representatives from the ACC.
The Lakewood Ranch, Fla., native continues to power the Blue Devils' offense, leading the team in batting average (.428), home runs (17), runs scored (58) and RBI (61). Davidson is one of six players to have started all 53 games this season, primarily in the outfield.
