By now even people who don’t pay attention to Duke football know Daniel Jones’ basic story: no big offers out of high school, AAU basketball, got a shot at Duke, turned out to be pretty good, the Giants took him as an unpopular #6 pick in the draft and since then he’s been turning heads and winning people over and tomorrow he makes his first start for the Giants replacing long-time QB Eli Manning.
It’s quite a story.
