DURHAM, N.C. – Duke softball notched its ninth straight win on Wednesday evening as the Blue Devils topped the Elon Phoenix, 5-1, at the Duke Softball Stadium.
With the victory, the Blue Devils improved to 23-4 on the season while handing Elon its 11th loss, moving to 11-11.
Junior Rachel Crabtree led Duke at the plate with a 3-for-3 performance in which she racked up a career-high four RBI with a two-run double and a two-run homer. The home run was her first in the 2020 campaign and fifth of her career.
