CHICAGO – U.S. Under-20 Women's Youth National Team head coach Tracey Kevins has selected Duke freshman Michelle Cooper to the 20-player roster for the 2022 Concacaf U-20 Championship, held Feb. 25-March 12 in the Dominican Republic.
Cooper and the U.S. will take aim at one of three berths to the 2022 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup, which is set for this August in Costa Rica. Looking to claim its record seventh Concacaf U-20 Championship, the team kicks off the tournament on Friday, Feb. 25 versus Nicaragua before taking on Puerto Rico on Sunday, Feb.
