DURHAM – A pair of Duke women's soccer standouts – Michelle Cooper and Katie Groff – have been tabbed to the College Soccer News and TopDrawerSoccer National Team of the Week, after helping lead Duke into the NCAA Tournament Quarterfinals over the weekend.
The Blue Devils registered a 1-0 win over 16th-ranked Texas on Friday, before notching a 2-1 victory over 13th-ranked South Carolina on Sunday to move on to the quarterfinals for the ninth time out of the last 12 years under head coach Robbie Church.
Cooper was named to both the College Soccer News and TopDrawerSoccer Team of the Week, after registering her school-record sixth brace of the season on Sunday against South Carolina.
