DURHAM, N.C. – The sophomore duo of Mackenzie Cole and Lily Cooper collected All-ACC Academic Team honors for the 2019 campaign, which was announced by the league office Wednesday.
A constant in Duke's lineup throughout the season, Cole racked up 446 digs for a 4.02 dig/set average. The libero from Oakdale, N.Y., had 25 contests with 10 or more digs, including a season-high 28 in Duke's five-set thriller against NC State. She registered three contests with 20 or more digs to rank fourth in the ACC and added 27 service aces.
