DURHAM, N.C.—Duke University junior midfielders Deemer Class and Myles Jones have been selected as two of the 25 players on the Tewaaraton Award presented by Under Armour nominee list the Tewaaraton Foundation announced Thursday. The nominee list was pared down from the 50 players originally selected to the Tewaaraton Watch List.
Jones and Class are two of the 12 nominees from the ACC as Syracuse, North Carolina and Notre Dame each have three representatives apiece.
The nation’s top scoring midfielder, Jones paces the Duke offense with a career-best 65 points from 35 goals and 30 assists.
