WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The 2019 ITA Regional Championships came to an end Monday as junior Kelly Chen fell in the finals of the singles main draw in Winston-Salem, N.C.
Chen, who is tabbed No. 5 by the ITA, dropped a 6-1, 6-4 decision to No. 12 Cameron Morra of North Carolina.
Chen defeated five opponents en route to the championship match and now owns a record of 11-4 this fall.
Duke will return to action Nov. 1-3 at the Kitty Harrison Invitational in Chapel Hill, N.C.
