DALLAS, Texas – Redshirt senior defensive tackle DeWayne Carter has been named one of 20 semifinalists for the seventh annual Jason Witten Collegiate Man of the Year Award, the organization announced Wednesday.
Compiled by a subset of the Jason Witten Collegiate Man of the Year Selection Committee, the semifinalists have all demonstrated a record of leadership by exhibiting exceptional courage, integrity, and sportsmanship both on and off the field.
Carter, a 6-3, 305-pound Pickerington, Ohio, native has been an instrumental piece to the Blue Devils' defense during his tenure.
