DURHAM, N.C. – Duke University 2019 graduate Virginia Elena Carta will be honored tonight during the NCAA Convention as a 2020 NCAA Top 10 Award winner in Anaheim, Calif. The ceremony will take place starting at 9 p.m. (ET) and will feature a live video feed here.
The award recognizes former student-athletes for their successes on the field, in the classroom and in the community. The recipients — who completed their athletics eligibility during the 2018-19 academic year.
Earning the 2016 NCAA Women's Golf Individual title in her freshman campaign, the four-time All-ACC selection capped her Blue Devil legacy with the 2019 NCAA Team championship in May, helping lead the Blue Devils to their seventh NCAA title in school history.
