DURHAM, N.C. – As the 119th U.S. Women’s Amateur gets set to open action Monday, Aug. 5, the field of 156 golfers will feature two Blue Devils with sophomore Gina Kim and 2019 graduate Virginia Elena Carta competing.
The USGA Championship will be contested Aug. 5-11 at 6,502-yard, Par 72 Old Waverly Golf Club in West Point, Miss.
Opening with 36 holes of stroke play qualifying Aug. 5-6, the championship will move to match play the rest of the week starting Wednesday, Aug. 7. The championship is scheduled to conclude with a 36-hole final on Saturday, Aug.
