DURHAM, N.C.— California natives Chelsea Gray and Vanessa de Jesus got together recently via a zoom call. Gray, a 2014 Duke graduate and current member of the Los Angeles Sparks, provided some advice to the incoming freshman guard as de Jesus will join the Blue Devils in August.
Gray had previously coached de Jesus on the AAU circuit. The duo chatted about the Cameron Crazies, the Duke-UNC rivalry, WNBA life and The Duke effect.
