DURHAM – Former Duke right-handed pitcher and the 18th overall selection in the 2020 MLB Entry Draft, Bryce Jarvis, will deliver the keynote speech for the 12th annual First Pitch Banquet on Feb. 3, 2024.
Jarvis was one of two former Duke Blue Devils to make their major league debut last season, joining Matt Mervis of the Chicago Cubs.
The Franklin, Tenn., native appeared in 25 games (19 starts) at both the double-A and triple-A levels in 2023, before being elevated to the major league club on Aug.
