DURHAM, N.C.—Duke University junior attackman Jack Bruckner was selected as the USILA Division I Offensive Player of the Week following his seven-goal outing in the Blue Devils’ 15-8 win over Virginia. Bruckner also was voted the ACC Offensive Player of the Week and the Ronald McDonald Charities Duke Student-Athlete of the Week for his performance.
Bruckner tallied a career-high seven goals, including five in the first half, to lead Duke to the crucial ACC victory. The seven goals are the most by a Blue Devil since Zach Howell had seven in a win over Siena Feb.
