DURHAM, N.C.— After leading Maryland to two NCAA Final Four appearances and earning All-America honors as a sophomore, Lexie Brown transferred to Duke over the summer. The 5-9 junior had to sit out the 2015-16 campaign due to NCAA transfer rules. Brown sat down with the Blue Devil Network recently to talk about the season and what she learned sitting on the Duke sidelines.
Brown, a native of Suwanee, Ga., will be eligible for the Blue Devils next season in what is expected to be a very talented Duke squad that includes four starters returning -- Azurá Stevens, Rebecca Greenwell, Oderah Chidom and Angela Salvadores.
