DURHAM, N.C. – For the third time in her storied collegiate career, Duke University fifth-year senior Lexie Brown has been selected an Associated Press All-America, as announced Monday. Brown was named to the third team as a sophomore at Maryland and during her junior and senior campaigns at Duke.
Last season, Brown became the first collegiate student-athlete to receive Associated Press All-America honors at two different schools and Monday she became the 41st player in NCAA history to earn the honor three times.
Brown received third team honors along with Napheesa Collier (UConn), Teaira McCowan (Miss.
