One of the cooler things on draft night was watching Donovan Mitchell come down to greet Grayson Allen after the Utah Jazz took him at #21.
Behind the scenes, Mitchell was telling the Utah brass that having competed against Allen, he’d like to compete with him.
He went further and said this: “Everybody has pretty much showed our back and forth. But the one thing about Grayson is I always respected him. When people ask me who the toughest guy I had to go against in college basketball, it’s him.”
