DURHAM, N.C. – Redshirt freshman guard Mikayla Boykin is set to return to the Duke women’s basketball lineup Sunday versus Marist after sitting out 355 days due to suffering a left knee injury in the Blue Devils’ 101-30 win over Winthrop on Dec. 10, 2017.
“An incredible story of inspiration and courage,” said head coach Joanne P. McCallie. “She’s had to have a few surgeries but still has a smile on her face. I know she’s so excited. We’ll take it as it comes … we aren’t going to force it.
