BROCKPORT, N.Y. – The National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) announced its 2020 All-Region teams as freshman Darcy Bourne and graduate student Eva Nunnink represented the Duke field hockey team among the 32 All-South Region selections, as announced by the organization on Tuesday morning.
Bourne and Nunnink were named First Team All-South Region, marking the first all-region honors of their Duke careers.
During her rookie campaign, Bourne started all 16 games while leading the Blue Devils with eight goals, 17 points and 46 shots. The ACC Freshman of the Year and All-ACC First Team honoree went on a four-game goal streak in which she tallied five of her eight goals.
