CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – In a double-overtime thriller Thursday in Chestnut Hill, Mass., Duke dropped a 92-90 decision to Boston College as the Eagles drained a jumper with .3 seconds remaining at the Silvio O. Conte Forum.
Redshirt junior Haley Gorecki led the Blue Devils (9-11, 1-7 ACC) with 24 points and a career-high 14 rebounds, while freshman Miela Goodchild added a career-high 23 points on 5-of-6 three-pointers.
The Blue Devils got the game started with a steal and layup by junior Leaonna Odom and the score was tied, 5-5, through the first five minutes.
