Boonchant to Compete in Home Country of Thailand

DURHAM, N.C. – Duke University junior Jaravee Boonchant will not compete with the Blue Devils at the spring opener in Palos Verdes, Calif., this weekend as she will be traveling to her home country of Thailand to see action in the Women's Amateur Asia Pacific Championship (WAAP) from Feb. 12-15.

Boonchant will be one of 83 golfers playing at the Siam Country Club in Pattaya, Thailand. A native of Bangkok, Thailand, Boonchant is currently ranked No. 14 in the latest Women's Amateur Golf Ranking and is a two-time All-America with the Blue Devils.
