When Grand Canyon came to Duke, aside from the single loudest fan we’ve ever heard, we were impressed with how well the Antelopes traveled. Who knew? For whatever reason, that program, young as it is, has a solid fan base that’s willing to fly across the country because it’s so dear to see the Antelopes play (sorry).
Unfortunately when it came to scheduling Arizona State, there were some discouraging words (sorry again. Apparently it’s a condition. ADA therefore applies, so back off). Obviously the Sun Devils could get a lot more mileage with a game against a higher quality opponent and a obviously aloss to Big Ditch U would hurt tremendously.
