Realistically, the massive success that Bob Hurley engineered at St. Anthony’s had to end some time.
It’s just too bad it couldn’t be on his own terms.
St. Anthony’s is shutting down and as one final act Coach Hurley invited his players, old and new, in to come by and pick out some memorabilia.
That’s a bittersweet thing obviously but who else should get that stuff? And what better way to remember what was accomplished at that school than getting as many players together as possible?
The stories must have been incredible.
