DURHAM – A host of current and former Duke field hockey players have been selected to compete in the 2022 Senior Nexus Championship (NXC), presented by Osaka Hockey. The event will be held at the Virginia Beach Regional Training Center in Virginia Beach, Va., from July 17-22.
Current Blue Devils Paige Bitting, Shelby Bumgarner, Alayna Burns, Barb Civitella, Alaina McVeigh, Hannah Miller, Grace Norair, Josephine Palde, Macy Szukics and Josie Varney are among the 144 athletes chosen to play in the tournament.
