CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The ACC released the 2017-18 preseason women’s basketball polls Thursday at the annual media day in Charlotte, N.C., with the Blue Devils tabbed No. 3 in a vote by the Blue Ribbon Panel and 15 league head coaches.
Redshirt senior Lexie Brown also received preseason ACC Player of the Year by the Blue Ribbon Panel, while redshirt senior Rebecca Greenwell, freshman Mikayla Boykin and fifth-year senior Bego Faz Davalos also received recognition.
Duke, which returns four starters off its squad that totaled a 28-6 overall record a year ago, received 799 points by 60 Blue Ribbon Panel voters.
