Blue Devils Stunned at No. 2 FSU, 1-0, on Late Goal

TALLAHASSEE, Fla.— In a highly anticipated top-five matchup, the fifth-ranked Duke women's soccer team lost on a heartbreaking goal, 1-0, with 14 seconds remaining in regulation to second-ranked Florida State Thursday evening at Seminole Soccer Complex in Tallahassee, Fla.

With the loss, the Blue Devils fell to 5-3-2 overall and 3-3-2 in the ACC, while the Seminoles improved to 7-0-0, 7-0-0 in the ACC.

"It's so hard," said Duke head coach Robbie Church. "I'm just so just so torn for the players, because they worked so hard two games in a row against two of the best teams in the country, and on their own fields, and we've been step-for-step with them the whole time.
