DURHAM – The Duke women's basketball team opened the 2021-22 campaign in strong fashion, posting a 95-39 victory over the Winthrop Eagles Tuesday evening at Cameron Indoor Stadium.
The Blue Devils finished the game with five players in double figures, led by graduate transfer Lexi Gordon's 17 points and senior Imani Lewis' 16 second half points in their Duke debuts. Junior Celeste Taylor and sophomore Nyah Green each added 11 points, with Miela Goodchild chipping in 10.
